Sunline Landscapes is expanding our team in the greater Salt Lake
area and surrounding valleys and hiring an Operations Manager for
our Landscape Construction Department to help facilitate our growth
in our industry of high-end residential landscape projects. If you
think logistically, love to develop and refine systems, love the
outdoors and the landscape construction and design/build industry,

A Landscape Construction Operations Manager must have excellent
communication and people skills, with a focus on employee relations,
team building, and culture. System-based, process-oriented thinking
is a key to success.
Our ideal candidate is one that has a passion to lead their team,
communication is a key trait, focuses intently on delivering customer
service through executing our workflow via our crews.
Here are some key traits required for success in this position:
Must have working knowledge of all facets of landscape
construction: hardscape, softscape, drainage, lighting,
irrigation.
Understanding the relationship between logistics, schedule,
weather, materials, crew configuration – and the impact that has
on gross profit and client satisfaction
Drives to complete, via their team and processes, projects to
100% completion – assuring at or under budget metrics for
materials, labor, subcontractors
Reduces warranty and “pick list” items at completion and after
completion to deliver prime customer satisfaction and
profitability
Creating processes and logistics via GANT Charts or other
operational scheduling initiatives to have all team members set
up for success in delivering deadlines and budgeted hours and
material metrics
Manage construction operational teams and subcontractors –
including but not limited to scheduling, training, quality control
and team development
Work alongside Clients to deliver Customer Service via the end
result of their projects and the daily workflow on their properties
Be a Hands-On, Tech-savvy Leader
Have knowledge of operational financials, including costs,
labor, materials, budgeting, gross profit, and benchmarking
strategies
Be paramount in safety strategy and quality control
Be able to identify the best team members for our operational
staff, and hold them accountable to deliverables and best
practices
Be available via flex hours for operational concerns, including
occasional weekends and evenings
Be a great, people person with ethics, drive, passion and
commitment
Requirements include but are not limited to:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as Landscape
Construction, Landscape Architecture, Horticulture,
Construction Management or another relevant degree program.
A minimum of 5 years in a management or leadership position
that included teaching and motivating a team.
A minimum of 7 years in the field of construction and/or
horticulture, construction/garden management, or landscape
maintenance/management.
You must have a clean and insurable driving record.

Preference given to candidates with the following credentials:
Working knowledge in the snow and ice control industry
Bilingual - English and Spanish
